I suppose it's a sign of a good book if you pick it up a few days ago, read the first few pages, and since then can't stop thinking about it??

(I picked it up in a library I wasn't a member of hence why I don't have it in my hands right now)

you know that rush of happiness you get when you see a book that is set in your hometown (or state) especially if that town/state rarely gets books featuring it?? or what about seeing a character with your name especially if your name is a rare, not-well-known one???

that's kinda what it feels to see a book that features your struggle/sexuality/identity in a realistic, positive manner . . . but better.

I love the true faerie wildness of Rook, but that isn't endearing him as a love interest tbh

me, surrounded by Korean talk shows and kpop and perfecting my Hangul handwriting: 이게 뭐지?

(still learning the finer grammar so probably wrong but yeah it always makes me laugh when Korea/Korean is treated as something super foreign when it's like 80% of what I hear/read/look at/research)
