I know that there has been a lot of talk about this series being a BDB rip off with the vampire warriors that transition at age 25 but I just read one of the MC say 'true' in the same manner as BDB. Did Flynn do that as a joke or is this a blatant rip off?

Just finished the first chapter of Finding Zach and I feel like I was hit by a truck. This one is going to be very hard to get through emotionally.

This book was so much fun that I couldn't put it down. I am going to be absolutely wrecked when I have to get up in a few hours to go to work but it was worth it!
