What custom wills, in all things should we do't,
The dust on antique time would lie unswept,
And mountaneous error be too highly heaped
For truth to o'erpeer. Rather than fool it so,
Let the high office and the honour go
To one that would do thus.

Found and destroyed the part of my operating system that was attacking my Internet browser and causing my whole system to go kablooey. Now I can write my reviews in peace.

I don't know what's up the recent friend requests bypassing my challenge question, but that's the easiest shortcut to getting thrown out.

The great thing about writing papers is you can use Maslow's hierarchy of needs while shoving his "the study of crippled, stunted, immature, and unhealthy specimens can yield only a cripple psychology and a cripple philosophy" up his ass at the same time.

I could continue today's academia related time commitment into its 12th hr with some Chaucer review. Or I could say fuck that shit, grab some dinner, and actually start this a week after I first marked it as currently-reading.

It seems my choice of language answered that for me.

Men have had every advantage of us in telling their own story. Education has been theirs in so much higher a degree; the pen has been in their hands. I will not allow books to prove anything.

I need to go over Lear again and watch Ran before I read this, but there it is. The last play of my Shakespeare Tragedy class. I'm going to miss it and its phenomenal phenomenal professor so fucking much.

It's so wonderful that reading this counts as being productive for class, especially when the conclusion for an essay for a different class is flat out refusing to cooperate.

My current workload has entailed a measure of shortcut foibles such as not reading my Middlemarch's afterword as a means of finishing the book for school without instigating the writing of a review and skipping the introduction of this in order to more quickly begin my essay. It'll be nice when I can slow down and take up my usual go big or go home methodology.

I have not taken a bribe yet. But there is a pale shade of bribery which is sometimes called prosperity.

This has the potential of displacing P&P as my favorite Austen. Stay tuned.

It's always good to know who at work complains about and/or laughs at sexual harassment prevention training. Bearing in mind, of course, these are only the ones who do it in public.

Reading ahead on this in order to sooner get to Persuasion and the writing of my final essay. I'm enjoying the work thus far, but when it comes to Austen, I will forever be a creature of angst and hate sex.

The rate at which I break kitchenware explains why I read far more than I cook. Books don't shatter in the sink or explode in the microwave. They might catch fire, but what are you doing microwaving a book in the first place?

It's rather a strong check to one's self-complacency to find how much of one's right doing depends on not being in want of money.

My friends and I make up a near third of the top reviews for Beloved, and we all have ratings of four stars or above. I like where I'm at.
