i am enjoying this a lot so far! Jeanette and Hurtig are a fantastic Duo. also the Case has a kind of brutality and shocking background that i really really like - it thrills me a lot and that's how it's supposed to be.

i will not finish this book for now.

the book is great so far but Teresa is just plain annoying. i just hate her attitude. Thomas sass is enough for this book but we dont need two of the same sort. oh and: NEWT <3

feels good to read some good old Logan McRae these days even though Shatter The Bones is not my favorite yet from Stuart MacBride. also i am looking forward to Simon Beckett and Cormac McCarthy!

the past 4 chapters were very slow and not as entertaining as the first few chapters.. i am still hopeing for a good ending

this book turned into complete madness. and for some sick reason i am enjoying it. Apart from the extremely cliché fantasy names of thee Rephaim (i mean... Arcturus... serioulsy?!) i really think this is going into the right direction. i am struggeling with the characters though. there's no one, except for maybe Cyril or Liss, who i like.

THE CURSE So far so good! lot of stuff happened. i like Paige so far and i LOVE the aether and everything that comes with it. i will need time to adapt to the slang, thank god there's a glossary in the back! it's like a YA novel without all the shit that comes with a YA novel.

90% of all the Zombie books i have heard of were awfully written and had a predictable plot. of course i read Warm Bodies and now i am reading World War Z so no reason to recommend them! i would love to read more mature Zombie books, nothing with teenager love interests or stuff like this. mature, thrilling, bloody. black humor. that's what i need :)

i have so many expectations in this book and i know from reviews that they will nOT be fulfilled. In fact, i know this won't be as i imagined it to be. So imma take a deep breath and pretend i never ever heard of neither the book nor the movie before and read it as unbiased as possible.

ooooh this is fun.

i just really really love this book. i read 3 of King's horror/fantasy novels but i never read one of this kind as Joyland. very likeable characters and a great Storytelling!!
