Constant distraction and split focus can make you vaguely frustrated, cramped, and tired. The fix for this isn’t idle rest, it’s the productive work towards a goal without distraction. Sitting on the couch all day won’t make you feel any better and it will likely just lead to more distraction. Rather, putting the distractions away and focusing on a small house project or a workout is much more restorative
