Last leg: 55 pages left but with a bio knowing the end of a life is imminent it’s a bit sad, even with Philip.

is being fairly tough on himself to read books that are in the ‘Currently Reading’ pile & which have bookmarks in because they’ve been started. He has done well so far finishing, finally, a good four of these so far at least this year and the Philip Larkin biography, although long, is going down quite well, no matter the fairly - at times - repellent personality he perhaps was. Trying not to buy!
