ASH! 3 (And Puck too...) Oh, this won't end well. Not like it's "well" now - again, ASH!!!!!!!!!!!

The characters!!! <3 Most books only have one or two lovable characters, if any... but here... all of them :) Well, ok, I like them all. But my favorites have to be Grim, Puck and Ash. Yeah, they make this story :) (Actually, I can't even say that, so much is good about this book!!!)

And I'm sensing the twist here - iron fey? Iron and faery do not go together... this is proving to be exciting :)

Hey. Wow. Been forever since I've regularly updated here... and it's not like I've got time or anything (in fact, I've got far less now...) But hey, we'll see how long I can keep this up.

Heard... so many good things about this book. So far, I like it. It's a little typical, but in a good way. Like we need more of these books around, back to the old times where I was just swept away in discovering a whole new world...

Yeah, I'm done with this... maybe it does get better, but first rule - start with an interest catcher. You need it.

Started this a while ago and reflecting: it got boring real fast. Like, after the first few chapters (which are so obvious), I couldn't read more. Maybe I'll come back to this. We'll see.

Okay, wow. So many guys. I usually have a pretty good idea of who's going to end up with who, or at least a toss up between two characters, but this one... I have no clue at all. Just, complicated.

I'm getting SO behind on my reviews - I've finished all the books on my "currently reading" shelf and haven't got to reviewing them, and I have a ton of books I've started and gah - life sucks...

I've been hearing so much praise for this book - so far, it's meeting those high expectations!

Their relationship progresses way too fast, and it's so typical and predictable it hurts. I'm rethinking my "read everything and try to find those rare good ones" philosophy.

I'm...bored. Like, I think about this book and I go "ugh." I'm sorry... it just bugs me.

I should stop reading depressing books. Even if they're damn good.

Cutest book EVER! And that's only so far - I love how these guys are so different, but are always thinking the EXACT same thing - so perfect for each other!!!!!

It seems that the first chapter isn't the only one with the "spewage" of info... cuz I think that's all I've read so far...

The first few pages of this book is like a dump of information, just giving me the life story of our main character. I don't know... I don't really like this strategy - not so creative, you know?

Okay - never mind. I don't mind Lilit... especially since it's all just so hilarious now!!! LOL!!!

No offense, but I just don't like Lilit - for obvious reasons...

I'm just waiting for Alek to figure out that Deryn's a girl...

Trella, in the beginning, was so detached from everything... it was so annoying... now she's better but still stubborn and sticking to many of her old beliefs. Though they are rapidly changing - typical dsytopian drama!

The most random things happen in this book, making it all the more realistic. Know what I mean?

Lots of great vocabulary in this book... and the switching of the POV isn't as confusing as it would seem... I think it was done well. Though, I do have to say that I was a bit irked by all the typos I noticed - it's called a good editor!

I finished the first one... it was much better than I expected, actually.
