With this update, I've finished reading the Great Bazaar. Overall much like Brayan's Gold it was an enjoyable short story with another look at Arlen before he became the Warded Man. Unlike Brayan's Gold though, I feel like the Great Bazaar could have just been part of the first book since it provided a lot of context that I felt the book was lacking.

I'm at the point now where I've finished Brayan's Gold. Overall I'd say that I enjoyed it, especially since it filled in a bit of information that I felt was missing in The Core when [SPOILERS] Derek showed up talking about how much he owes Arlen. The story itself was entertaining and its nice to have more stories detailing Arlen's adventures as a messenger before he found the spear of Kaji.
