Its probably evident from the time it's taking me to read this thing but I'm having a really hard time getting into it. So far it's just a lot of buildup which is fine, but nothing much is really happening. Just character development and no actual plot. I never thought I'd find myself reading something that's got too much character development but here we are.

You know, its funny how history repeats itself. The Dragonbone Chair took about the same amount of time to progress from setup to things actually happening, and after that point the book went from ok to fantastic. Here's hoping The Witchwood Crown is on the same path.
