Story is good so far. Fashion and hair styles of characters however is super tacky. “Slicked back hair” = gross

This book is dragging honestly. It’s a lot of repeated dialogue and I am NOT a fan of fated lovers or.. love without reason. It’s a bit cringe and cheese. Not the worst though. I guess it’s okay for a smutty book. But it’s derailed a bit for me . First couple of chapters were alright. I enjoyed it.. but the romance is just a bit yuck.

I wish the print in this paperback wasn’t so tiny. My old ass eyes are working hard.

Sooooo good so far. Possibly a new favorite we shall see.

Not enjoying the overuse of the word “males” can’t she ever even just once say.. men.. man, sirs, gentlemen, warriors, guards…friends.. anything but “males” lmao. The Story
Is fun.. but thE word males is cringe.

Pausing this to restart in fall. Ghost story would be best around Halloween, not in mood for it. But it was good… so not a dnf.. I WILL eventually read this. Just not now.
