Enjoying it but I really lost the thread of who is a dolphin chimp or human but that’s fine

Things finally picked up around 50%

Tbh I think this book could’ve spent another two months with an editor figuring out the proper pacing and emphasis on characters. The sequel is always a disappointment after the first but I think on released later the same year is an extra victim.

Still enjoying it but not as likely to recommend

I’ve definitely read this before as a child but I remember very little

Also hans is a bit of a “noble native helper of discovery” he’s Icelandic so it feels like a less problematic version of Pocahontas
