That last story was very sad.

I have a couple of gripes with GRs.

First, I've been off GRs for 3 days. GRs only gives me updates from the last 24 hours. God forbid, I go out of town for a week.

If you sent me anything 3 days ago, I didn't get an update. Sorry. =(

Second, Why are my reviews and ratings disappearing?
Why go through the hassle of writing up reviews when they can go poof and be-gone forever?

This isn't the first time either.

In other news, I've been down with a corneal abrasion. Hopefully, the doc will laser it. This is my second time with a corneal abrasion. A good thing: I only have 2 eyes. This is very painful.

Hubby bought my Christmas gift of the book I wanted. Book 2 of the Amish of Summer Grove. =) Reading in 2017!

"The Den" is a pretty good thriller. This is just another reason to fear the internet. =)

It stopped being "fun" days ago.

It really is the pits being sick. Just when you start to feel better, it comes rushing back worse than before.

I LOVE A Stillness of Chimes. My favorite book ever!

I also want to finish off the series I'm reading at the moment, Hope's Crossing. There are 7? books in the series.

I did awesome during my October reads. I read 6 horror/Halloween themed books. Alright!

I'm as excited to begin my Christmas/Winter reads.

I will begin my read and reviews again starting in January.

I read and loved book 1 of this series so much.

I decided to start off my Christmas/Winter reads with this one.

This is not set around the winter season.
It's book 2 of Hope's Crossing and a Raeanne Thayne novel so I knew it would be endearing and perfect to start off my Christmas/Winter reads. =)

The day has arrived!

I hope to finish this today or tomorrow.

I already have my next read ready to go. =)

Within the last few days, I've made a realization:
I've kinda moved away from horror being my favorite book genre. I'm thinking I much prefer reading suspense/thriller/mystery.

I'm just enjoying it more lately.

I never thought I'd say that.

That being said, horror is still my favorite movie genre. It always will be.

By the way, I'm currently watching Children of the Corn. =)
