Loved it.

The only character I like so far, that has any class, is Geraldine. And perhaps the author should have just stuck to the third person narrator. I haven't managed to like Jemima even this far, and I still have not seen these qualities that supposedly make her such an interesting person/character. She isn't even funny.

A quick one but I was getting annoyed at Jemima's bit of hipocrisy. "She knows better than most about judging books by their covers."
But just a couple of pages before she was standing there judging a gorgeous girl to be "indescribably" stupid for no other reason than that she's gorgeous, and thin, and flirting with Ben. Seriously?!

This far and it feels like watching that movie "Stranger Tahniah Fiction". The book started with Jemima as the narrator, but along the way there is a another person narrating most of the main characters' story. It doesn't bother me much, but who is this person? They're using a first person pronoun.

I like it so far. I have read two of Rowell's books before and liked them. Nothing to really gush about, but it's an enjoyable read so far.

Too much monologue and flashbacks so far, so I got a tad bored at this point. Will pick up again when the mood strikes.

I don't usually do periodical update but at this page, I almost choke on water laughing. It was probably not intended to be comedic (or maybe it was, I'm not sure at this point), but it was one of those effortlessly funny moments that I just had to write it down.

This is turning out to be one of my favourites of Jill Mansell's books so far (perhaps second only to Miranda's Big Mistake).. and I decided to update because guess who showed up as a cameo! Johnny's sculpture! and after Daisy showed up earlier. It really excites me when I can recognise the cameos in her books.

loving this so much so far. but then again, Mansell is one of my favourites ever.

Just started, and I don't like the main character much at this point :/

Because I read this book first, I think I will always be partial to Anne of Warwick from here on out. I enjoyed the book but feels rather dissatisfied with the ending.
