Surprisingly little has happened

Oh, great, this is supposed to be suspenseful and solemn. The doctor's name is Rosen and all that pops into my head is:

-May I help you Dr...?

-Oh, it's me, Dr. Rosenpenis. I'm just here to check out Alan Stanwyk's file.

-Dr. who?

-Dr. Rosenrosen, I'm here to get to the records room.

-What was that name again?

-It's Dr. Rosen.

Always thought the surprisingly long lived fashion of wearing your pant seat half way down your legs looked bad, just found a good argument for belts!

Off on a very good start :)

Both impressed and amazed about how little actually happens in this book at the same time I just love it and want to read all the time

And just when I think I couldn't love her more, she takes off on a long Douglas Adams discourse...

Very suspenseful now - both the writing and finding out where the plot is going!

The horrible scenes are horribly well written. Captivating book.

Well, ok then, you can color me impressed.

I'm getting looks on the bus - I think I'm going to print a t-shirt saying "I'm reading Marian Keyes" - that way all must think I'm perfectly normal laughing to myself.

Bruce's early bands being the best thing since sliced bread and him being the most amazing guitarist ever alive at age 18 gets written off by me as the writer being a tad enthusiastic - remains a really captivating story anyway, so I'll forgive him :)

Sometimes I'd say dark is not so bad.

Good start, caught me instantly.

"Publisher's reader" - no amount of suspension of disbelief is enough. "Stories from a box" - nothing against filling in a few blanks, but this asks you to write the entire story...

"Lost and found" was another really good one! Very non-explicit and intriguing

Some "but's" are piling up now, hope things will be resolved on the home stretch...

A bit up and down this one, but very read worthy as a whole.

Heh, this guy had the exact same experience as my young self wanting to analyze dreams... I like the book, it's got 'different' qualities.

Trailer was pure and classic horror. As to "paradise": did not see that coming!

"Damien factor" was nothing short of brilliant! Intelligent and wondrously scary. To quote Ministry: The mind is a terrible thing to taste.

Oh, darn, here I've gone on and on about the stories being too short and when a longer one comes along it grabs me not at all... oh well, plenty more to go!

"Cedar Hill" was a fun, gory piece of karma and comeuppance. And what's this? "The Scare Rows" just may be an evil carnival á la "Something Wicked" coming to... Bay's End! Yes please! Too bad, I have to work now, guess I'll know more this afternoon...

I saw a rat's tail in my john once... Wiggling. I guess that's not so bad if you put it in perspective :) "Morning Dew" is a fab example of painting a detailed and vivid picture using quite few words, good reading!
