Not even a 1/4th way in and already in love with this author’s writing style. The commentary on colonialism and colonizers racial relations is done refreshingly.

Unfortunately this book lost me not even halfway thru. I am putting it down and likely won’t pick it up back anytime soon. Horrific.

I’m hate finishing this one. Holy shit the main character is insufferable

I’m almost halfway thru the book and the plot has yet to move along, Jesus Christ lady just get to the point I’m listening on 1.75x speed just to try to get thru this. The story concept is interesting but it’s going a little slow for my taste.

Could be spookier but so far so good
