Re-reading! I love stories like this

Idk how Kuang does it but she kills it. The main character is so unlikeable but that’s the whole point, white people not knowing how to stay in their lane, the messages from POC just going right over their heads, their willingness to profit off of stories that aren’t theirs when it’s convenient to them. If you’re a white “ally” you need to read this book and Babel.

DNF, couldn’t get into this

I do not like this book

I like the writing style but I don’t like what I’m reading if that makes sense.

Why did they make Kate a xenophobe? I would really like this if it weren’t her often describing her distaste for foreigners?

I am not exaggerating when I say this book is a masterpiece
