The plot is thickening faster than Grandma’s gravy!

There’s a lot going on. Sometimes the telling gets in the way of the showing.

Finished the Golden Age treats. Now to the 60’s Silver Age fun and games.

I rather like Kellen.

Finished “All-Star Comics” #4. I’d forgotten what a jingoistic mess it was. Maybe it hit me that way because of the current political climate.

Welp! Jason just made the big discovery!

And Kellen has been exiled...

Lycaeleon is a real piece of work.

This is a real hoot so far.

Just finished “Invasion from Argos”. The kind of silly story, that isn’t so silly when you get past the surface. Eisner was already pushing the margins of simple comic book stories here.

Nice into by Dave Gibbons. It seems 1941 is where Eisner starts to really develop the Splash Page

Just finished “Slim Pickins”. One of the better stories early in the series.

Moving right along

The Homer Creep story was amusing.

“Palyachi, the Killer Clown” is the first disappointing story thus far. Also, I can’t believe The Spirit said, “By Jove!”

It seems The Spirit’s first gloves were yellow.
