I would have been better served with a hard copy of this book and maybe still being in school.

Symbolism on top of symbolism on top of metaphors on top of having a family tree being beneficial.

Classic of literature; perhaps. Would have to revisit, probably more than once.

Someone told me a long time ago that summer and/or vacation was the time to read “good trash”. I hadn’t done that in many years. Stumbling across this, I thought it’d fit the “trashy read” bill. Meh. Just a thinly veiled recount of the author’s early escapades in L.A. If you enjoy 80s hair/glam metal and TV, you can figure out who the “fictionalized” players are. 2/5
