Well.....the h is both endearing and a little annoying with her nerdisms (poodoo? who says that?).

I'm feeling a bit frustrated with these two. They're giving me whiplash with the back and forth and mixed signals. I'm also feeling like I've read this before but I guess it's just something similar.

I really hope this picks up soon. Sutton has been clear from the start she’s only interested in being friends with Bennet and all the other friends are pretty immature. Brantley wonders if he should tell his brother he’s interested in her and is advised not to. This has disaster written all over it. I get there will be conflict but not loving how it’s playing out so far.

1/3 in and I am enthralled by this story. Nothing has even happened physically yet between them but I am so into it. This author is so witty and lets events unfold.

Only 5% in and this h is coming off as self-absorbed and unlikable. Hope she improves...

I'm not sure about this. Includes non-consent and the h is acting tstl after the fact. Not sure how this can turn around in a believable way. H is cruel and not in a good way.

This Elizabeth is kind of a bimbo at times, hope she gets some initiative and act”talks” to her fiancé

I am enthralled with this couple and their story. How do I not already know about this author? I'm invested in them and on pins and needles for them to make it despite the obstacles of their different but equally tragic pasts.

This h sucks so far. At first she was acting like a martyr and now she is just an idiot: all the characters are immature, use a lot of words without saying much, and feel like I’m being played with inane scenes that do nothing to advance the plot: if tos doesn’t improve soon it’s going to be DNF

We’ll I’m hopeful I will love this book and this series bug right now the h is acting like a martyr….

9% In Ana’s this girl is f-I got annoying. I hope she improves because I loved the h in the first book and this one is awful so far

I am sucked in to this story, I really hope it stays good.

I like this story but the h is an idiot. What happened when she left is absolutely her fault for not telling him the reason and because her choice had life changing consequences which abused the 12 year separation.

She’s a not nice person at all for refusing to meet his children and engaging in a relationship with him but still spouting her BS about moving and closure and blah blah blah

I am loving this story already! The MCs are developing so well, I'm really drawn in. Love the h and her best friend. Great snappy dialogue but it feels natural.

Apparently Daddy-Dom is a thing. I've heard of age play and I like older/younger but the h actually behaving like an infant, the baby talk and general silliness is a big turn off. I'm going to keep going and give it a chance but if she's going to behave this way out of the bedroom I'm gonna have to dnf.

20% in and this h better improve because as feared “Sassy” is equaling bratty so far.

8% in and I need a break. If the h sleeps with this man-ho the same night she walked in on him doing a groupie I will throw my device at the wall.

I’m having a time with us, a lot of the characters act juvenile it’s supposed to be humorous I’m sure but not happening. I’m forcing myself to keep on.

Oh my God, she is such a brat!!! Sorry, I went as long as I could. I really like the story and the series and the author but Pippa is acting like every bad cliche of a heroine you've ever read. Ok, end of rant. Carry on.

Not good so far. Roses red-a single kiss and closed door love scene. First Kiss- 14 year old 8th graders talking about his dick and her getting moist and tingly looking at his bod. Ick! What the hell is this book?

DNF at chapter 2. It wasn’t grabbing me so I read some reviews and one state the h is kidnapped for a long period and raped. No thanks.

Started off intriguing but so far the h is pretty immature for a 32 year old. And her superior anger at the H is out of proportion with their encounter after she ran out on him and lied about her name....
