And what is it with authors always mentioning Freud as the source of all things psychology? Jesus Christ this dude (Freud) is so toxic, it makes me sick.

I really fangirled about this scene so much again, that I lost all of my bodily functions for a minute.
Just goes to show how starved I still am for queer stories.

For some reason, I thought this scene came way later in the book... Turns out I was wrong.

Not detailed, but still there. And not as carefully dealt with as it would have needed. So, as much as I loved this book up to this point, this brings it down a notch unfortunately. But I hope the book can get back to the greatness it was
