I'm not 100% sure how far I actually am, I have 90 minutes left on the audio. I'm also too lazy to get up and go get the book and find the page number. However, I am LOVING this story. I love how it's not too short, but short enough to get the point, meet the characters, and to set up for the other books. This is the second JA book I've read and I really am loving his writing.

Took a bit to get into the story, but now it's starting to get into the plot. I expected this because Best Served Cold was the same way. Enjoying the audio. I tried reading it on paper I but had problems concentrating (not the fault of the author at all.) I'm really looking forward to the story advancing and for Prince Yarvi to get his revenge.

This book is depressing as hell. omg. I mean, the movie was depressing, but the book..just..elderly Jacob makes my soul hurt.

I'm only on chapter 15.
I don't even know how many chapters are in this book but at this point, King should have done some DRASTIC cuts. There's a lot of subplots that are unnecessary and didn't really need to be "covered".

Alright, now the story is getting ridiculous.

I hope Big Jim and Jim Jr. meet tragically, painful, long, slow, torterous deaths.

I probably shouldn't, because it seems like it's the wrong choice, but I love Barbie. This poor dude.

I have no clue how far into the book I am, it's really not that far, but this book shouldn't work and it does. I figured I'd be bored by now (it's a 35 hour audiobook) and yet, I'm still enthralled by all the characters. And I think that's why it does work. There's so many POV's happening at once, it doesn't get boring.

I still have no clue what this book is about.

Trying to decide which book to do next and it's a toss up between:
Dune,
Under the Dome,
The Shining,
finishing up Feast for Crows, or
Water for Elephants.

NGL, this could have used a really good run through from the editor. There's just things in the book that don't matter - like all the issues with what's her face and the newspaper she switched too.

I keep getting recommended books based on me reading Stieg Larsson.
I'd love to read a bunch of these books except they're not being published in English.

It's kind of hard to feel bad for Lisbeth when she makes such stupid fucking mistakes all the time.

While the first book is a work of genius, this one is definitely a masterpiece. It's not as violent as the first one because it doesn't have to be, and it's incredible. I love learning about Lisbeth's past and I'm so disappointed that not only did Stieg pass away before he could finish his work, but that his family wouldn't let the one person he trusted the most to finish it, finish it. I refuse to read the new one.

My library is lame and doesn't have all the Jo Nesbo Harry Hole books on CD. I hate dealing with Overdrive.

Just starting to get into the mystery/case and man, it pisses me off that Stieg died. He was such a fantastic writer.

Not too far into it, and normally I get bored listening to Gaiman read his own books (he has no range) but this one is pretty enjoyable so far. I'm also glad it's pretty short.
