Oh Fitz, stupid Fitz!

Almost two books into the series and nothing happens.

The way Fitz and Verity deal with King Shrewd and Regal is so frustrating.

The story is slow paced, not so much action. Sub-stories seem like a space filler.

The dynamic of Fitz and Molly relationship ship is stereotypical and predictable so far. I personally don't like the way Fitz pursue Molly.

I can see the point of making Molly's character the way it is but I think it should've been written better than this.

Second book in the series, characters don't seem to grow and develop.

I had a deja vu when I was reading a few chapters, I felt like i read that before or I've seen it in a dream, it was really weird.

I kind of like Lev Peshkov storyline development so far.

It's funny how was always fitz assigned a job he didn't like then get surprised it was important to the war effort.

Storyline was pretty predictable.

Building of events is going nicely, not keen on the romances so far.

I feel like I need to read a book to refresh what I studied on school about WW I and II.

"sooner or later, Britain and Germany must do battle for mastery of Europe." Found this quote interesting with regards of today's politics

I was not in the mood to read a long book, but the writing is smooth so this helps.

The spelling is irritating to the point of having a headache.

Todd clearly states pretty early in the story that he can't read or write well.

This weird spelling makes reading the book a bad experience already.

Ugh!

Why Hadrian took children to a dangerous mission?

There was a lot of location description that I skip-read.

My favourite character is gone, the other character I was hoping to develop is gone too.
The "bad" characters end was kinda weak.

the Jungle thing was not necessary!

There were so many clues and mystery in the story up until now but nothing is unraveled and there is so many questions and not so many answers.

Gave Arista A chance and there were the tiniest progress, then she ruined everything.

It's official I hate Arista character.

Why can't Arista accomplish anything without "The Art".

Other than Gwen,the book lacks good female characters, hope Amelia and Miranda develop in a way that compensates.
