Just about halfway through and my predominant, recurring thought is that most of the failures of the justice system described are caused by reforms made from 2010, ie after the Tories came into power. I shudder to think what has happened in since then as the Tory party increasingly scrapes the bottom of the barrel.

Slowest moving book in the world, incredibly repetitive, lots of anticlimatic moments (that weren't even that exciting). This would be far better as a movie

Louise's mental narrator is exhausting and tiresome.

This is a book about puppets, childhood trauma and sibling rivalry. It's very slow moving, terribly long winded and pretty boring - the horror aspects are few and far between. The change in narrator midway for a few chapters was extremely jarring and unnecessary.

This book is so good!
