"Cowboys & Aliens" This movie got its share of bad reviews, but I can't see why. The premise is inventive and the story is appropriately spooky. Definitely a 3 star flick.

Watched "The Iron Lady." Despite the excellent acting (Meryl Streep is superb as usual) and the well-told story line, I couldn't get very excited about the movie simply because I don't find the autobiography of Margaret Thatcher to be all that compelling. Could have been a 4 star flick, but it only gets 3 stars from me.

"Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol" The movie has plenty of action, but I just couldn't get into it. 3 (out of 5) stars.

"The Descendants" A rather existential movie which is code for "I didn't understand the underlying meaning of the story." Therefore, 3 stars.
