Much as I hate to admit it, the chapter on the discipline suffering was something I really needed in my life right now.

Thank goodness for graphic audio because the regular audiobook narrator is a California surfer dude. unlistenable.

I really needed that chapter on waiting. Fantastic.

So far the best thing about this book is that it's short. No attachment to any of the characters and not particularly interested in the story. Some major coincidences that cannot (or will probably not) be explained by the fact that Alex can see the future. Seeing lots of blatant Dresden Files and Wheel of Time ideas lifted as well.

So far, so meh.
