So probably gonna read more later today, but the sorta shots at other SF writers in this book are hilarious.

Heinlein (Fineline) being god of engineers is hilarious, with how many nerdbertarian STEMlords I've known who love him.

Harlan Ellison (Elcin) being the tiny angry god of thunder who is unpredictable and lets people down when they think he will succeed is so perfect.

The story is so-so, but the gossip!

Currently becoming more of an inverse Dying Earth, where the "wizard" with the technology knows what he is doing, but can't explain to the other wizard. Also why are the Bright Wrothers here?

So far, has that same "technology as magic" that is so fun/funny in the Dying Earth books, so yay.
