Do you ever know that a book is coming to an end and just KNOW that the end is going to tear you to pieces so you take forever getting to that point --trying to deny the inevitable -- only to not be able to withstand the suspense so you're, like, rushing through the book but also reining yourself back at the same time?? Because same.

:))))) We are happy and savoring every word!

I don't think I've ever wanted a cookbook for a novel more than in this one! So many delightful descriptions of meals, my stomach just grumbles whenever I'm listening!

The downside to listening to audiobooks on Spotify is when you forget to turn "shuffle" off and end up on chapter twenty after chapter three!

This is a history book that is only available on iBooks (FREE) and has an interactive tech twist. It reminds me a LOT of the Carmen Sandiago computer games from the 90s! Review coming soon!

Man, I'm likinggggg this! Inevitable Ascension is giving me a vibe that reminds of one of my favorite games...Horizon: Zero Dawn. The world at least. I'm really excited about this!

Listening to this audiobook while I’m working and goodness me! What a phenomenal book! It’s like fantasy, politics, NCIS, and witch hunts all in one!

It's been 5 years since I read book 1. HOW DO I REMEMBER EVERYTHING????? I can't wait to get into the action in this one!

Hoping to finally finish this book this week. I hate that it's lost my interest because it really is a good story. Hopefully something extravagant will happen in the next few chapters and I'll be excited to finish it....

My reading goal for 2020 is 75 books again, but this year I want to add a little twist. Out of those 75 books, I'm aiming for 20 (for 2020) of them to be nonfiction!

Nonfiction is one of the hardest genres for me to read, but last year I managed to read 11 nonfiction titles, so I think it's totally reasonable to try for 20!

Anyone else setting a reading sub-goal??

Just looked at my 2019 review, and I'm sorta sad that I started this year off with a 2-star book and also finished with a 2-star book. I've got 6 days left and I think I'm gonna find a good book to finish off 2019 on a good note!

Josh and I finally agreed on a new book to read aloud together on car rides and so far, hearing a story from a Dragon's perspective is all we ever needed!

Boy...this is not a light read, nor is it in any way, shape, or form "politically correct". But it's sooooo good!!!

Oh my goodness! I rarely get on here and talk about a book before I've finished it, but I am SO ENJOYING Into The Wildbarrens! It has a feel very similar to The Hobbit, but seeing as how I've tried (and failed 3 different times) to get through The Hobbit, I'd say it's more of an improvement on the quest-type adventure and I'm so excited to see where it goes!

The beginning of this book had me hesitant, but then it got superrrrr good! Now....Things are starting to be a little too convenient again......We'll see how this all works out.

I was going to get on here and announce that I was back from my hiatus and then I realized that I've only been gone for..... 5 days. My tiny vacation of not touching a book for 5 days feels like an eternity.
But I am back now and so happy to be able to read again!
