I don't know what happened this week. Well yeah I do so I've barely read it... We're going to have to read loads on Monday and Tuesday... We're supposed to be doing a retell.

I really like it and I'm enjoying guessing what is going to happen to each character. I love Macbeth and I love crime so this seems like a great mix.

It's our book study for the next three weeks whilst we also study Alexander's Empire, trade and home life. My class are just so enchanted by Greek mythology so hopefully they'll like this.

They're a bit errgh about the Iliad so far as it has only been about Paris' love for Helen so I think the Odyssey will go much better.

Traumatic but their love just shines through and yeah I'm an emotional mess.

Just listened to the Five Orange Pips. I'm still on the Adventures of Sherlock Holmes but I adore it anyway...

Wow. Just wow. This makes me emotional.
It's SO good. I found time to read it.

I'm looking forward to this but don't expect masses of progress as this is my pleasure book to read whilst I'm at school/work.

Up to the Adventures of Sherlock Holmes.
Read Scandal in Bohemia (awesome), Red Headed League (epic) and now onto the Boscon Valley Murder.

I've read it solidly until here but I have dropped in and out on many different pages. I will be reading this all term I think. My class are going to love it. It's so useful and child-friendly.

I like this book. I don't find it boring. I'm just not in the right headspace for it.

I've listened to A Study in Scarlet and A Sign in Four. As it will take FOREVER to listen to this, I am going to re-review the books so I don't miss any points I wanted to add.

I've listened to half an hour of the Study of Scarlet and I'm not even on 1%.
Genuinely, just ignore all the books I'm reading. I'm honestly hopping.
This is the definitive audio collection so it's 71 hours so don't expect much progress any time soon.

I'm a sucker for Greek mythology.
BUT I'm a little annoyed that my translation keeps referring to Zeus as Jupiter - it's Greek mythology not Roman.

Andrew Lincoln is the most perfect narrator for this.

The Adventures of Odysseus is based on Homer's Odyssey.
So thought I'd read this first and then the Odyssey so I know what the Adventures of Odysseus is about.
