Taking it slowly and enjoying the narration.

Still not convinced on the time paradoxes, but it is a great story and lots emotion, intrigue and clever ideas!

Time travel always seem to through up paradoxes.... not sure they all hang together this time, but the writing is great, story is fun, adventure is high and characters fantastic.

Fun and whimsical... up the beanstalk they go!

I am really enjoying this one. The first person narration is very good and the story keeps moving along.

It may be moving along a little too far, I think there is a case where the last quarter of the book may actually be a Book #2, as there was an excellent and natural ending a little while ago.

Reading for the #SPFBO

I'm liking it so far. Great start and it has made me chuckle. (Audiobook)

Slow going at the moment.

Still good, but sags a bit in the middle... picking up again now.

Still fun... and a little confusing. All the transitioning of worlds and famous characters. James T Kirk just showed up.

Because reading one book at a time is clearly not in my DNA!

A writer, characters who dictate the action, a splash of humour... its got me :)

I really need to concentrate in this book. So many characters and PoVs... easy to get lost.

A simple elegance to the writing. Short scenes to keep it flowing.

Strange start. lots of telling and info-dumping, but gracefully written and strange new-world to learn about.

First chapter... awful - almost went out the car window (audiobook, but it was on my phone so that would have been a bad idea)

SaidSaidSaidSaidSaidSaidSaidSaidSaidSaidSaidSaidSaidSaid - is the only word I heard in that first chapter - it just felt so overused and actually detracted from the separation of the characters (it might work better written).

Since then, bloody great! Full of action and plot twists!

I dip in and out of this one. The writing is good and the story is beginning to move along.

Still loving the culture references and getting most of them, I think.

The story is good, even it all feels a little unreal. Wil Wheaton does an incredible impersonation of George Takei for one of the characters!
