These are getting better. I love the groundwork set in this one for Lady Midnight; Kit is without a doubt one of my favorite TDA characters and I like learning all about his lineage.

I'm also enjoying learning more about the MCs of this collection. :)

Absolutely adorable and perfect intro story. I've missed Simon so much, and it's great to see the old gang from TMI. Even if briefly.

I love the character of George Lovelace. Let's see how a relative of Jessamine holds up at the academy.

Walter and Kelly have the cutest relationship. Kelly is a Disney prince and Walter is a mother hen. It's the most adorable dynamics I've read in forever.

So I forgot Tales from the Shadowhunter Academy at home last night, so naturally, I started another book. Let's do this.

This is way cuter than I expected. Charlie is a precious little dork.

Since it's the physical form of the audiobook (meaning CDs and no percentage tracker) I'm going to be guesstimating what percentage I'm at with this book. And since its in my car, I'll be listening to it in odd spurts.

So far this is absolutely amazing. I love the vivid imagery the author paints, and the characters feel so tangible. I can definitely understand the hype.

Oh the irony that I just happen to be reading this on Veterans Day...

Finn is quite the individual.

I'm enjoying this novel way more than Speak... Laurie Halse Andetsob may win me over yet...

WHAT. How is this book not all over Goodreads?!? This is one of the best (and certainly most unique) books I've gotten my hands on this year. I am in love with it.

Usually I roll my eyes at forbidden romances, but this one is making me cry at the unfairness of it all...

Guys; there are too many good books that have been nominated for the GR Choice Awards. Especially for YA Fantasy and Science Fiction. Ugh. I don't which books to vote for.....

Yesterday was a good reading day. Nice and cold, with the occasional drizzle. Hopefully today is the same!

I just love the world this series takes place in. Urban fantasy for the win!!!

And here's where things get freaking INTENSE.

Neal Shusterman had a book signing an hour away from where I live last night, and I was able to go! I got him to sign a few of my books, gave him a copy of my book I wrote back in 8th grade (!!!!), and overall, got to talk to and learn from an amazing (and very accomplished) voice in YA lit.

The stakes are rising!!! I'm so glad I picked this up.
