So far so good. One note: the inclusion of “Jesus Christ Is Risen Today” (1776) as representative is a fine choice. However, saying that it is “also known as ‘Christ the Lord Is Risen Today’” (1739) and crediting Charles Wesley as the author of only one verse is, in a word, bananas. Maybe I’m biased, but it feels like Wesleyan/Methodist erasure. I’m hoping it’s an isolated incident, not endemic.
