Listening to audiobook ... Chapter 11

I love that two authors met and thought it'd be fun to share their fan fiction with their fans. Got me thinking of other crossover stories I'd love to read. This was a fun read. I haven't read any of Murphy's books, but I enjoyed meeting her shaman, Joanne Walker.

Slow start, but ended with a bang. Uncertain what my rating will be; I'll let it simmer for a bit.

Wow. My heart has whiplash.

Young Dorina in the epilogue! :) Fans of both series will enjoy this look into Mircea's very early years; it's well worth the small cost.

Mircea as you've never seen him - a vulnerable, naive, two-year old vamp. Only a quarter of the way through the book and already I'm grateful to Karen Chance for giving us more than a short story.

(4.5 stars) I've grown so attached to these characters and wish I could have my very own Pixie clan. The end is near and Kim Harrison has done well preparing us for it. It's sad though that after 10 years of Rachel & Co 2015 will be the last year I'll have a new Hollows book to read.

Can't settle on a rating, but falling between 3.5-4 stars.

Definitely a series I'll continue to follow. Fans of Ward's BDB and/or Showalter's Lords of the Underworld should enjoy this series - Lake's Wrath demon brothers are similar enough to pull ya in, but different enough to keep ya hooked.
