These little handmade book seem…a little manipulative? They’re not random stories but almost exact retellings of past events in the book but with certain emphases…

I was surprised by the idea that the bigotry didn’t originate from the antagonist, but was pushed onto the antagonist by his victims..

I understand the author’s pontification here, but it’s odd to turn characters back into caricatures.

I’m here chuckling, while thinking about a council of dragons with a little tiny gavel. — “The Council confirmed that the duplicitous way..”

cute idea having the gentle ogress and the greedy mayor spout the same phrase.

Well, that’s a nifty foreshadowing!

I get the emotional angle, but i’m not sure about the logic: before the catastrophe, the town helped one another freely; after the catastrophe, the town hired each other but also nobody was hiring?

Wait, so the “little” ones are learning long division but they are also young enough to need help putting on their pajamas?

How old are these “little” kids that they understood all these words? — “…the true story of the past, as well as an accurate foretelling of all possible futures.”
