Excellent world building, great characters, and amazing art that looks very different from anything I've seen before.

Really enjoying Descender; so far, space opera at its best.

Wonderful so far. I'm a big fan of the podcast, but I was worried that the book might be average (as these things often are). Anything but. A real deep yet accessible exploration of how we think, remember, and reason.

A mix bag with a real gem inside. Tuesday Evenings Six Thirty to Seven just became one of my favourite short stories.

This was disappointing. It doesn't have the time to explore the idea nor to challenge it. The result is basically a description of a specialist's pet peeve. Beyond whether the argument was valid, I often couldn't say.

So much better than the usual zombie dross. Plague kills or zombifies most of the population. Special forces guy leads of group of survivors (mostly military folk) as they try to survive. And they mostly do smart stuff!

Took me a while to get into it, but now finding The Slow Regard of Silent Things quite compelling. Not at all your standard fantasy.

First book was excellent. Like Starship Trooper in its description of a highly militaristic society.

So far it's an excellent read. Just what alternative history should be.
