Slow going for reading this book. Not really sure what’s happening. Some of the writing is very jarring.

This author likes using figurative language (similes, metaphors, etc.)

Emergent readers have to learn so much about reading! Memorizing all those sight words has to be hard!

There is soooo much scaffolding and reteaching in the Pre-A level.

Great info for teaching guided reading!

I need to set some time aside to really dive into this book! I keep only getting little fragments of time here and there!

A lot of world building. Still getting my head around everyone within a certain profession looking the same and a small set of names. It’s weird the number they go by changes every year.

Audrey is done with flight training and now on to Ferry Command.

Not sure how I feel about Officer Wilson, he just needs to take a step back!

Loving the action! Too many characters, hard to keep track of everyone. Lots of info about WWII and airplanes!
