Tells a compelling story of finding oneself and others despite hardship and grief. Messina portrays grief beautifully as well as what comes after in terms of moving on or making peace with it. Would highly recommend and would read again.

This book has got me reading for hours. The details and descriptions are incredible. I love the way the author portrays Marie and how she portrays people even if she is blind.

The book so far is highly detailed and very informative. Readers can easily connect to the main characters struggles in middle school.
