Whew. Quite an opening. Going to be a bit more critical in review due to the hype. Great writing! However, finding some plot holes that hopefully are answered in the book (makes 0 sense as to why end powerful blood lines when eventually all women will die of old age regardless…most would want to continue to have that type of magic passed down via heirs). Too many characters but nice originality to magic system.
