This story is just so wistfully and gently unfolding.
Something about the pacing, tone, has me so empathetically connected.

I love how the characters are shown, not told.
Less is more when trying to depict the emotional angsts and turmoil. And that’s just been masterfully done.

Every character POV is gripping and compelling.

Stephen is the complete opposite of toxic masculinity and I’m here for it. His attitude is everything I hope to instill in my kiddos.

I feel like I could dnf this. I usually like Sarah Mass.
I’ll keep on because I’ve read things get better in the second book.
Pacing just seems off on this and I don’t feel the chemistry between the two mcs. it feels manipulative and Feyre is blind to everything- Which doesn’t make sense for such a shrewd survivor, imo.
