A touch underwhelmed so far, but I think it’s just because I’m pretty sure the target audience is younger than I initially expected.

I’m enjoying this, but I’m not sure if it’s particularly good, but rather the result of a writer with a strong voice and the phenomenal narration by Meryl.

I’ve only just started this, but Meryl is a gem and I can already tell I’m going to like this.

I loved this book so much as a kid that the pages are falling out. It’s a simple read, but gives me the same, childlike home comfort.

Halfway through this terrible book and I’ve used Jodi’s trick of turning up the audio book speed. Jesus.

Okay, I get that it’s made of stories, but “the zygote fairy”? REALLY?

Okay, it’s cute, but so slow. Maybe I’m being unfair since fake-dating isn’t my favorite trope (although it did make me laugh that they referenced the trope itself), but I’m finding myself more and more irritated with Olive. Oh no, he’s just so laaaaarge and she’s just so smaaaaall and neeeerdy and quiiiirky.

Ugh.

I think this was growing on me because we spent a good deal of time away from her family. Now that we’re back to getting letters from the younger sister while hanging out with the older and her awful father, I’m just so fed up with everyone!

It’s growing on me. :)

I want Murderbot to be my third mother too.

So far… I’m not loving it. But it’s early.

This is well written, but I’m so uncomfortable and unhappy.

Oh shit

This is poignant and sweet but it’s hard to believe I’m less than half done. It’s hard to imagine where else this book can meander, and it wander wonders a lot.

I just love this book.

Restarted this, as a favorite comfort book.

Reading in the airport, and it’s a delight.
