Locke Lamora seems like kind of a prick, also everyone else so far

Has gotten kind of boring and i haven’t really grown very attached to any of the characters as i near the end of book one. Greft could make a strong villain though over time I have learned to have faith in Robin Hobb

Really digging it so far the story seems pretty layered and I like the way she is going about slowly revealing details. Got to read some the past 2 days at the beach. Main character’s name is Hanalei and I am at Hanalei Bay!

Ok we are moving along, sticking with the Liveship style of perspective not sure which my favorite plotline is so far I have been enjoying the bingtown sections at least as much as the rainwilds sections I would say

I love Captain Kennit man he is playing the whole world!!! All storylines converging here much sooner than i expected tbh

Things picked up pretty quick, the bingtown war was paced surprisingly fast for Hobb and now suddenly we are on to the next thing lol it was great though and we are getting some of Kennit and Paragons secrets now can’t wait for their meeting

Well past how far Miyazaki had written before they switched gears to making the movie at this point so I am noticing a ton of differences. Yupa is SO sick in this, emperor has an evil brother with such a fire design, and manga is most definitely darker than the movie

I’d like to make this a focus soon it’s so awesome

Every once in a while Sanderson drops an incredible line in this book
