More readable than I anticipated.

There's a scene where Meloy describes a room full of machines, and the paragraph was simply euphoric.

This book is just too much fun. The True Knot and Abra are so great. I'm happy for the overt supernatural in the story. I've missed it from King.

Hubbard keeps lying about being a doctor, when he is nothing of the sort. And the rise of Scientology, different from Dianetics (the original movement) was created for tax exemption, mostly (and a fresh slate since Dianetics when bad.)

There really aren't page numbers in this box -- that's right -- BOX. I'm happy to own this book that isn't in book form.

I would like more with Eddie, Susannah, Jake, Roland and Oy, but an interesting tale of Roland's past is better than no Dark Tower at all (although, I could read the comics).

I started this book when it first came out, and I wasn't ready for it. Not for any particular reason, but I thought it was good time to sink into it now.

In a strange way, this book reminds me a tad of Anita Shreve's "The Last Time We Met." As of now, I like Book 2 more than Book 1 right now. I know the Divers are a mess, but this interrupts that reality for a little while to see where they began.

I will probably never go to Cannes, that's one of the reasons I picked this to read for summer.

It's becoming that country song: We need a little less talk and a lot less action. Also, all the men leaving the woman in the house alone RIGHT NEXT TO DRACULA'S ENGLAND HOME is just plain dumb.

We are going into Dracula's house now. I don't really remember the ending, so I'm not sure what to expect.

We are almost on the hunt for Dracula.

It's funny how much of a main character Dracula ISN'T in this book.

I wasn't quite sure of the style of writing at first, but now I'm hooked.

Some of this book is, like, "duh."
