This book - chills, tears, broke me and remade me. If you had a childhood full of abandonment/neglect, and enjoy dark, spicy, fantasy romance - I think you'll love this.

YA Regency Era fantasy/murder mystery, who done it - I'm loving this book so freaking much! The symbolism in the women's hair being the conduit for male sorcerer's magic - truly, chef's kiss. The mystery part is so well done. The trials in the competition are fun and innovative.

The chaos just keeps on getting more chaotic and I am here for it.

Cascadia laughed. It had a hint of madness to it. “Well, why not? Why the fuck not?”

I'm with Donut and Ferdinand in regards to how a certain king looks in his crown. 😂

I miss them going on talk shows, though. So many funny lines during those. But the other meetings kinda fill that spot.
