Wanted to try reading a webnovel that has not been traditionally published. I might dnf immediately or this might sit on my “currently reading” shelf for a year until I eventually admit to myself I’m not finishing it.

Is this series set before 2007? Because the excessive mentions of gameboys and teenagers using email as a primary form of communication is really strange for a book written when I was in high school 😭
