Theory: What if Luke knew about Nell, so he's trying to murder Jet? And Sophia is his accomplice? Because Nell told Andrew, and Andrew said not to tell business secrets to a drunk. So Luke could've known. And Luke has connections to their family. And he and Sophia kept on lying. And Luke isn't handing over the list to Jet.

I'm not sure if this is supposed to seem suspicious, because the author might just be goading me to suspect one person, but I recall that Billy "towered over" Jet and the murderer is taller than Jet.

Jett's mom is...extremely inconsiderate. I understand the I-don't-want-to-lose-my-daughter-part, and the please-make-the-right decision part, but she's screaming at Jet as though Jet isn't at an extremely high risk of gettin an aneurysm and dying on the spot.
