Wasn’t expecting much bc I did not like Rouge, but I’m intrigued. I feel the pacing is very similar to Rouge as well as the writing style, I could see this happening in the same universe. I see many parallels, hoping this gets a bit better bc I don’t want to dnf another book

Still obsessed, but one drawback is there is a ton of talk/descriptions of food and it makes me hungiesssssss

I don’t want to stop reading, but I’m going to a brewery with a friend so I have to pause, thinking about sneaking the book with me bc I’m so enthralled, the writing is so flowy (even with the footnotes) and it has me sat. The story is so cute, and I also feel like I’m learning so much culturally. This is the first book that I’ve ever added sticky notes because of quotes, vocabulary, and intriguing things

This book caught my attention immediately and it’s funny and cute ✨ glad to start the new year with it

This book isss… something lol, the pacing really keeps you intrigued just enough. And then hits you with new info and you’re like what.. it’s weird but I like it

I’m wanting to love this more, and maybe it will get better, but I feel it’s moving at such a slow pace so far

Okay, I’ve had this on my tbr for yearsss, it’s very much same level as hunger games and divergent and I’m shocked this (that I know of) has never been picked up as a movie or a show.

I didn’t realize how much I adore cute romances, and a local Seattle one makes it even better
