This book is coming back to me slowly from deep in the recesses of my memory.

This novel is very different from what I expected--in a good way! I'm flying through it.

Good so far.

The novel now alternates between tragic and funny, and the mixture is unsettling. I don't think I like it as much as last time.

Touching and entertaining throughout.

Always profound and challenging. "[We] are here to submit to His will so that He may work through us what He wants."

Read Whitman again, and didn't hate him as much. Now on Dickinson--one of the greats.

Just finished the chapter about the widespread success of Milo's syndicate, in which everyone has a share.

Yossarian just moved the ribbon on the map so they wouldn't have to fly the mission to Bologna. This book is fantastic and often hilarious.

Got this beauty in 20th Century Lit class. It's an anthology of Modern poetry and those who influenced it. I need more poetry in my life.

"'Sure, there's a catch,' Doc Daneeka replied. 'Catch-22. Anyone who wants to get out of combat duty isn't really crazy'" (55).

I never tire of the wonderful anecdotes Herriot relates about farmers, landscapes, and animals. Always funny and charming.

Decided to reread this beauty of a novel.

Fantastic bedtime reading.

I think we're on the verge of the reveal! Let's hope so.

This book is fabulously written, but its content undermines it.

Nabokov constantly tries to make you sympathetic with Humbert's perversion.

Forster's stylistic abilities are evident on every page. We'll see if the plot can match its quality.

I like Gladwell's mistrust of the rags-to-riches myth of success. The book is pretty interesting for non-fiction.

Action-packed and fast-reading. Paolini's very creative.
