Oooo a very dark and witty book. Wasn’t sure if I was going to like this one once getting started, but I’m fully invested now and excited to see where this goes 👀

Ugh! I just love this book and am so glad u got myself to read it. So interesting to compare against the book and Lady Jessica is my GIRL!

Audio book listen for me - was hard for me to start but have recently hit a turning point where I think I I’ll truly experience the horror and disturbance that friends have mentioned. The author does jump quite a bit between inner head fantasy and new story lines which does make it quite hard to follow at times, but body horror so far has been 👌

Going through a soul searching phase rn so it’s no surprise I’ve been picking this book up again. :)

I haven’t picked this one up in a while but this is such a soul growing book that I enjoyed starting. It was refreshing to understand this book is one I’d gradually pick up when the time is right. Can see this one being an important part of my library.

I’ve been dying to read this for years and found it at a thrift store recently. Heart breaking honesty of his childhood and I love the challenges David asks his readers to complete- it’s a heavy book that I can’t necessarily blaze through but see this will be a prominent reference in my life.

Took a bit to get into this one but I am fully invested! The historical fiction portion is worth navigating through Elise’s side of the story.
