This is one of the most misogynistic books I have ever read. I have to keep putting it down to take a couple of deep breaths

I’m ten pages in and the protagonist is already racist and misogynistic. And, I pray to god, that my parents have never spoken about me in that way. Does the author hate kids? Genuinely some of the most disgusting descriptions of other human beings I have ever heard in a novel, from a mother about her own children. I’m tempted to stop reading already.

There are lots of big questions being raised and I kind of wish I was starting to get some answers now...
