You mean to tell me this epic love triangle is between a guy who told her she had “real baby-making hips” on the first date and a guy who didn’t bother to clear the back on the car out so there’s trash and bottles rolling around and it smells like dirty socks for the first date?

Debating whether I have read a more painfully American book. Where are all of these places she keeps name dropping and why are they relevant. How is anyone outside of the US supposed to understand the context. Absolutely baffled rn
