This book makes me want to scream and cry.
So many triggers. I still will read it because the topic is important but this book is HEAVY.

The church covers up abuse in marriages. It's a huge problem but it's been a problem for so long that so many people think it's okay and "God's plan".

The hijinks are a foot!! 🕵️

Ummm.. A pet cactus named Kubrick? Sign me up.

Ugh what did I get myself into? I don't want to be sad. I thought "oh short book" this will a nice and easy listen. But I'm gutted emotionally. 😭

It's wonderful to see Native Representation in Rom-Coms and fiction in general.

But...I'm listening to the audiobook and the narrator seems like she should voice YA books..
I'm going to suffer through it as long as I can but may have to switch to the written word. We will see...

Poor Lenny 😭, I wish I could give her a hug.
The last quarter of the book is heartbreaking and gut wrenching.

I saw the trigger warnings for this book but I also noticed so many good reviews speaking of Lenny. I am understanding why. Lenny's story deserves to be told.

I'm not Jewish but have friends who are and I'm enjoying this book a lot. Lots of interesting shenanigans. Also disability representation which I appreciate. It's fun to read a different type of Rom-Com, I wish there were more out there. It's also fun to learn more about other cultures.

Isadora is very quirky. I'm enjoying it so far, especially since it has the "found family" theme.
I'm a sucker for a good "found family" book.

Currently she is working through a list of "31 Ways to Make you Happy". As a scientist, Isadora is trying to disprove the doctor who wrote the list.

Got this at the library on a one week hold for new titles. It's typical hidden identity-spy stuff.
Nothing unique so far to make it a five star.

When I started the book I wrote out who the characters are, there are 11 people in the contest. Four couples, one single father.

- Rufus and Kitty - (baby Olivia)
- Tina and Woody - (baby Belle)
- Cadmen and Gabriel - (baby River)
- Dimitri and Zoe - (baby Lenny)
- Hudson - (baby Alice)

Another review gave a lower score because it's hard to keep track of everyone so I wanted to share what helped me.

Listening to the audiobook, on chapter 15.
I just audibly said "What?!! oh my gosh!! 🤯🤯😮😱 That twist I didn't see coming.

I'm on the edge of my chair this story is intriguing!

Umm.. A book where the main character is a pharmacist? Sign me up!

Had to take a break for a few days because this book is sad/depressing. Still glad I'm reading it, but I think it's not something to read or listen to all in one setting.
